Gorilla tracking can be done in Bwindi, Rwanda or Congo.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is situated in South Western Uganda, on the edge of the western rift valley (Albertine rift) and is 331 square kilometres in size and on an altitude range of 1,160 metres to 2,607 metres. The annual average temperatures range is 7 degrees centigrade – 20 degrees centigrade with the coldest month being June and July
The people neighbouring the park, the majority are Bakiga and Bafumbira, constituting the densest settlements in Uganda. A few pygmies are found here who are also known as the Batwa tribe.

A 4 day itinerary will bring you around to view the mountain gorillas in Bwindi National Park.

Day 1: Entebbe - Kampala

On arrival at Entebbe international Airport and you will be transferred to hotel Africana or Holiday Express hotel for over night on bed and breakfast basis. BB

Day 2: Kampala - Bwindi Impenetrable Gorilla park

Leave Kampala at 8:00am in the morning to Bwindi Impenetrable Gorilla park to arrive Mantana Luxury Tented Camp or Ruhija Gorilla Lodge for dinner,overnight on full board basis (LDB).

Day 3: Bwindi Impenetrable Gorilla Park

Early in the morning briefing at 7:45am gorilla tracking begins afterwards, lunch will be served at your accommodation and afternoon village walk to the pygmies to learn more of these people culture, returning later for dinner and overnight on full board basis (BLDB).

Day 4 : Bwindi Impenetrable Gorilla Park - Entebbe

In the morning you will depart from Bwindi to Entebbe International Airport, lunch in Masaka and proceed to depart back home depending on you flight departure time (evening departures is ok) BL only.
