Highlights of Jinja, Queen Elizabeth, Birds & Chimpanzees

Day 1:

On arrival in Entebbe you will transfer to your hotel in Kampala, if you are feeling up to it, we will stop at the Wild Life Educational Center for a brief Education tour then proceed to the hotel. After you settle in, the Managing Director of Asyanut will welcome and brief you depending on the time of arrival. You will then have dinner and rest for the night. NB This visit to the WEC may be deferred to the last day depending on your arrival time to Entebbe.

Day 2:

A day’s trip to Jinja, allows you a magical visit to the source of the Nile River, which brings life to Egypt and Sudan you will visit Bujagali Falls and drive past the Owen Falls dam. This day will see you rafting White Water rapids on the Nile, Bungy jumping over the Nile and all terrain adventure riding. At the end of this adventure packed day, a drive of about 1 hour brings you back to your hotel exhausted but pleased with yourself.

Accommodation & Meal plan. Breakfast, Lunch at the Source of the Nile.

Day 3:

To day you embark on the journey head for the spectacular Queen Elizabeth National Park (QENP). Along the way you will go past the land mark site of the Equator where you may stop for photos at the spot before proceeding.  You will stay at either Mweya Safari or similar Lodge for the night.

Accommodation and Meal plan. Full Board

Day 4:

QENP offers the typical African Safari experience the game drive early this morning and the boat ride in the afternoon after your lunch will enable you to view animal and bird species which include; the lions, elephants, buffalos, hippos, Uganda kob, Baboons, various antelopes and chimpanzees. Birds seen on the Kazinga channel include: the shoebill, black bee-eater 11 species of king fisher and Falcons.  After these trips, you will return for dinner and overnight stay at your Lodge.

Day 5:

From QENP, you will proceed back to Kampala via Mbarara town where you will stop for lunch before transferring to the airport for your return journey home.
